Arcane Mage Arena Spec - WoW Talent Tree Build For the Best Mage
The Mage is a very complex and powerful class. They can be taken in many different directions, deal incredible damage, and be fairly tough to kill. An arcane mage mixes resilience with traditional DPS output. Does this sound like the build you want to have? If so, keep reading. This article will cover informaton about the arcane Mage Arena spec and the WoW arcane Mage talent tree build for the best Mage in your realm!
As said before, the arcane tree mostly revolves around resilience and mobility. The endurance comes from an enlarged mana pool, buffs, mobile DPS spells, and reduced damage talents. You get 70 talent points as of the new expansion and generally spend about 55 points in your main tree. The remaining points go into a second tree. So, let's talk strictly about the arcane build and then the two possible mixed builds.
For extra mana restoration/retention, grab Arcane Concentration and Arcane Meditation. Both Arcane Fortitude and Prismatic Cloak offer's extra protection, and thus resilience. Take Spell Power and Arcane Instability for extra spell and critical strike damage. Finally, for your huge burst damage and some mobility, do not miss Missile Barrage, Presence of Mind, or Arcane Barrage. Take all available ranks of these spells and the rest are completely up to you.
The first hybrid build is arcane/fire combination. This build is for the Mage who wants to do a ton of damage to their enemies; your goal is to kill as fast as possible with as little harm and mana drain to yourself. Spend about 16 points in fire. Take Improved Fire Blast and Incineration. Do not miss Ignite for some extra DOT. Burning Determination is worth having, but definitely max out World of Flames and Pyroblast. They are potent when put together and lethal when mixed with arcane powers. Also take Impact for a stun effect. With the arcane tree's extra mana and damage, this build is absolutely deadly!
Now, if you want to snare, freeze, and generally frustrate your enemies, the arcane/frost spec is for you! Hinder monsters and other players literally every step of the way! This can keep you and your party alive and often unscathed. Frostbite and Ice Floes will freeze and lessen cool downs of other spells, respectively. Ice Shards and Frost Warding are not to be missed for extra critical strike and protection. Icy Veins you will want to temporarily increase casting time. Also be sure to take Precision, Piercing Ice, and Improved Blizzard. Let's see what the horde thinks of you now!
Whichever hybrid mix you choose, you will be quite formidable and intimidating! Fall back on fire for sheer damage and frost for survivability, but they both work great in an Arena/PVP setting. Now you can go be the best arcane mage on your server!

How Do I Stop Pop-Ups On My Computer?
It has been seen that spontaneous Internet Explorer pop-up windows and ironically, pop-up blocker software, render Windows XP computer unusable at times of need. The pop-ups do not coincide with any particular action i.e, their execution is random and not caused by any particular event. They tend to slow down the computer and this is one of the major resons why Windows Users detest pop-ups. They often contain information unsuitable for being viewed by children.
Pop-ups usually are a means of advertising but there are times when the pop-ups mimic actual Windows and mislead the Internet user. Peace Runeword - Why You Want to Slow Missiles and Summon Valkyries to Aid You in Combat (Part 1)
Peace is one of the seven armor Runewords that came out with the 1.11 patch. Each of the seven armor Runewords were designed with one of the seven Diablo 2 Classes in mind. Peace is the armor Runeword designed with the Amazon in mind. It is one of the cheaper armor Runewords among the seven, as all three of the runes required to form it are from common Runes. Also, it is perhaps on the armor that has the most cross appeal to the other classes, more specifically the melee classes, due to the +2 to Critical Strike mod.

Slow Missiles is a Skill from the Amazon's Passive and Magic Skill Tree. It is a very useful Skill to have because it slows down any missile attack, whether it be magical or non-magical, by 33% of its original speed, thus making it easier for the Amazon or any of her party members to avoid.
A Level 5 Slow Missiles lasts for 36 seconds, so the best way to use this was to go into a group of ranged attackers, hit them until Slow Missile triggers, catching all of them in its 13.3 yards radius. Alternatively, if playing a ranged attacker, you can also attack from a distance, earning yourself even greater protection against your attacker's deadly volleys.
2% Chance To Cast level 15 Valkyrie On Striking
Valkyrie is a powerful Skill form the Amazon's Passive and Magic Skill Tree. It creates a powerful spear-wielding Amazon, or a Valkyrie, to fight at your side, much like a Mercenary, but stronger.
A Level 15 Valkryrie is very strong, and able to draw out enemy range fire, while dealing out significant damage at close-quarters.
This is a great mod for melee characters as getting a Valkryie is like getting a second stronger Merc. It also works well for an Amazon, unless she has invested more than 15 points in the Valkyrie Skill and its synergistic Skills. If that is the scenario, she might not like it if her own, stronger Valkryrie is dismissed due to this mod triggering. However, with just a 2% chance to trigger On Striking, some Amazons might put up with it, due to the other mods on Peace.

The Cat's Eye Is Mandatory If You Want Extra Defense, Faster Run and 25 Points in Dexterity
When one thinks of a Cat, one usually imagines a dexterous, quick, graceful animal. The Cat's Eyes is a unique Ring in the game that actually has mods that do reflect all these positive descriptors.
The Stats:
Level Requirement: 50
30% Faster Run/Walk
20% Increased Attack Speed
+100 Defense vs. Missile
+100 Defense
+25 to Dexterity
30% Faster Run/Walk
Faster Run/Walk is rarely found in Amulets, but it is a very good ability to have, due to the large advantage being able to move quicker gives you, both in PvM (Players vs. Monsters) and PvP (Players vs. Players) games.
20% Increased Attack Speed
Cat's Eye may give you the extra IAS you need to break the maximum IAS breakpoint. The faster your weapon speed, the more blows your can strike within a given period of time. The more blows you can strike within a given period of time, the faster you will be able to kill monsters in the game.
+100 Defense vs. Missile
+100 Defense
Cats are agile creatures, able to leap out of harm's way with a grace that humans envy. With these two mods, you'll be able to have a better Defense, both against melee attacks and ranged missiles.
+25 to Dexterity
The IAS indicated that this amulet would be more useful to melee characters rather than casters. With the hefty +25 points bonus to Dexterity, melee characters can experience three things: (1) They don't need to invest too many attribute points into Dexterity to meet high Dexterity requirements, which means they can invest the attribute points into Vitality instead, for more life (2) an improvement in Attack Rating, thus being able to better hit monsters around the level a little better, and lastly (3) an improvement in your % Chance to Block.
Summary:
The IAS points towards a melee character, but really, Cat's Eye can be worn by anyone, but the lack of mods and Resistances boost on it make it an unappealing choice for casters.

Why the Blood Elf is My Best Race For a WoW Paladin
The true name of the blood elves is Sin'Dorei, meaning "children of the blood" in Thalassian, they refer to themselves as blood elves in honor of their brave kin who were killed during the siege of Quel'Thalas by the Scourge. They used to be high elves but after that massacre they were changed forever.
They first appeared during the events of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and later in the Burning Crusade expansion to World of Warcraft, they joined the Horde and the draenei joined the Alliance in order to balance the class system between the two warring factions.
Up until then Alliance players couldn't be shamans and Horde players couldn't be paladins, but Burning Crusade leveled the class system by allowing Blood Elves to become paladins and Draenei to become shamans.
Blood elves aren't servants of the light like the Alliance paladins, they instead bend the light to their will hence allowing them to use its specific abilities of Holy, Protection and Retribution.
Their racial abilities are what makes them different than other classes that can be paladins:
o Arcane Torrent will silence all enemies within an eight yard range for two second, as well as gain the blood elf six percent of his mana; in the case of a rogue or a Death Knight this will get you 15 energy or runic power.
o Arcane Affinity gives the blood elves a ten point bonus to their enchanting skill.
o Magic Resistance reduces the chance of being hit by magic attacks by two percent.

Pictures of Anacondas Eating People - For Real?
If you are interested in the anaconda, you may do some cursory research on the Internet to learn more about these fascinating creatures. In doing so you will find a plethora of information, some accurate, some not. Riddled among these items, though, you will likely also see some pictures of anacondas eating people.
These images perpetuate the myth of anacondas being stalkers and killers, an image exploited by Hollywood in order to make horror films featuring these massive snakes. With today technology, some of the pictures are very life like and could lead you to believe that anacondas, if not regularly, then occasionally hunt and kill humans. But is it true? In a word, no! Humans are not a part of the anaconda diet!
In fact, there are exactly zero verifiable reports of an anaconda killing a human being. There are definitely stories involving anacondas eating people and some may be plausible, even likely. Throughout history anacondas coming in contact with humans may very well have resulted in a death or two.
But as far as pictures are concerned, no such genuine item exists. What we do know is that anacondas will attack people under certain circumstances but even this is a very rare occurrence. There are actually more occurrences of human attacks from anacondas in captivity than in the wild. In the wild, the snakes will generally leave humans alone unless they feel threatened or haven't had a snack in awhile.
There are verified and documented reported cases of anacondas attacking people. Most of this occurs from scientists observing the snakes for research. Fortunately, no deaths have yet to be reported. Most times when an anaconda attacks a human they either miss or they are easily dissuaded from continuing the kill. The fact is humans are too large a prey to be worth their time and the anaconda would rather have a tasty rodent or if really hungry a yummy crocodile.
We humans are simply too much of a bother. So, even though there are pictures of anacondas eating people available, the validity of them is questionable at best. This includes an attack in progress as well as the stomach contents of a half-digested person. It simply doesn't exist in reality.
Just because pictures of anacondas eating people are not real, does not mean these creatures should be taken for granted and extreme caution should not be taken when handling them in captivity or observing them in their natural habitat. The sheer size of these creatures dictates caution around them.
There is no doubt that an anaconda is capable of killing a human and if caught, there may be some injury. But since attacks on humans are rare and kills are currently at zero, the validity of pictures of anacondas eating people is proven false. While it may be an interesting theory and makes for great cinema in the horror genre, we will just have to live with the fact that anacondas are not a huge threat to the general population.

You can equip your character with Vampire Gaze relatively early, and it has a medium Strength Requirement. Stock up on + Strength charms if you're a bit under: it's well worth it.
Adds 6-22 Cold Damage - 4 Second Duration
Cold damage is one of the more important elemental damages in Diablo 2, and almost all high-level players equip their characters with an item that provides cold damage.
The reason cold damage is so attractive is not due to its damage, but to its ability to slow down your enemies. Even though the cold duration is reduced by 75% in Hell Mode, this is still considered a very useful ability. If the monster you're fighting is slowed down for even 1 second, that's enough to give the edge for your party, either in attacking it, or hot footing it out of there!
15% Slower Stamina Drain
A good mod to have, but never essential. Keeps you running for a longer period, but really, at higher levels, you should not have an issue with this, and there are always Stamina potions lying around.
6-8% Life Stolen Per Hit
6-8% Mana Stolen Per Hit
This is one of the star powers of Vampire Gaze. While there are other helms and items in Diablo 2 that offer either Life or Mana leech, only a rare handful of items have both. The only other helmet to offer both Life and Mana leech is the unique exceptional casque, Stealskull, and its Life and Mana leech is only 5%.
Life and Mana leech are very important in Hell Mode; they keep you alive for longer, and anything that does that is always coveted by Diablo 2 players.
Damage Reduced By 15-20%
Vampire Gaze is one of the few items in the game that provides a % Physical damage resistance. The others are Shaftstop, String of Ears, Verdungo's cord, Harlequin Crest and Stormshield.
Many players try to put on at least one item that has % Physical damage resistance, for the very good reason that it reduces the damage received from successful attacks, and thus is conducive to the one of the most important goals for all Diablo 2 players (especially those that play in Hardcore mode): not dying.
Magic Damage Reduced By 10-15
Numerical magic damage reduction is available on quite a few items, but you would never have enough of them to give you any significant amount of damage resistance. Even if you did, doing so would jeopardize the damage output of your character.
Summary:
All in all, the Vampire Gaze is a quality pick helm for many players out there, and after looking at the stats and powers, it's not hard to see why when you look at its star powers: its Life/Mana Leech, Cold damage, and the % Physical Resistance.

Review - Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Oh Lara, you just aren't the charmer you once were. Sure, it all began well with some innovative ps1-era puzzling and an impractical boob-job, but those times have passed, and now you are very much Nathan Drake's female dog.
But every dog has her day, and leave it to a Diablo-styled, co-op arcade game to give Ms. Croft her strut back. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light hits all the right notes, and is far more enjoyable than any of her recent "triple A" retail outings.
As you can probably predict, an artifact of mystical nature has been misplaced and an evil demon-king has been summoned from the dead to deliver hell and high water upon the face of the Earth. Also summoned, is Lara's new co-op partner, Totec, who wields a nifty puzzle-shattering shield and spear. The two set off chasing the demon, encountering deadly puzzles, precarious platforming, yada yada yada. You won't really care about the story.
What you will care about, however, are the ingenious puzzles designed to stretch the abilities of both Lara and Totec. The pair will need to interact to complete many of the puzzles. Totec has a shield that lara can jump on to get a boost, totec can also throw spears into the wall and Lara can climb them. Meanwhile, Lara has a grappling hook that totec can use as a rope. The best of the puzzles force the utilization of all these abilities, in addition to stage props like switches, boulders, and lovely one-hit-kill flames.
What isn't as ingenious is the combat. This over-the-head shooter plays just like other twin stick shooters like Assault Heroes, but without much flair. You'll still get an acceptable variety of enemies, along with some stat-enhancing items, upgrades, and weapons, but battles quickly devolve into 1. create some distance 2. hold right stick in direction of enemies 3. maybe, maybe lay a bomb. Indeed, it is far more fun to be running away from some of these enemies than to actually be fighting them. Some of the chase set-pieces are truly spectacular, and its here where the game shines, whether running from a tuna-monster or booking it through a deadly hall of traps. Solving puzzles with a partner is infinitely more intense when you've got a strict, spike-induced deadline.
Graphically, Lara Croft has lost little in her transition from retail release to arcade game. In fact, there are far less glitches and oddities in her latest adventure than in 2008's Underworld, perhaps making this title the most polished looking Lara Croft game yet. Like previously mentioned, the game is set in an isometric Diablo-style overhead view that makes stage navigation and puzzle surveillance a snap. Every stage has a different feel to it, whether it be the expected ruins, a decaying swamp, a spider-infested temple, or a lava choked wasteland, the environmental variety does a good job of keeping things fresh for the eight to ten-hour experience. Cutscenes are few and far between, but they all look great, despite dodgy writing. Similarly, the music is always fitting, and at times quite good, though you probably won't care to remember any of it once your adventure is over.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will probably run you from eight to ten hours, depending on your ingenuity with some of the games trickier puzzles. To supplement this already lengthy campaign, there are devious bonus puzzle rooms hidden throughout every stage that award you with stat-enhancing artifacts and relics. Finding every secret and completing every secondary objective will take you completists a long time indeed. On top of that, the single player and co-op campaigns are different enough to warrant a second playthrough, with most of the puzzles being altered to be challenging for a different number of players. You'll need to approach these puzzles differently than you did before, and this lends plenty of replayability to this fifteen-dollar gem.
Closing Comments
In 2006 Crystal Dynamics revived the Tomb Raider franchise with a polished, exciting sequel that took gameplay in several new directions. Now, four years later, they've done it again. Where Tomb Raider: Underworld felt a little stale and glitchy, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light feels like a revelation in simplicity, where the elements of gameplay are tuned down, but honed to a sheen, and complimented perfectly by presentation, graphics, and music that does its job just right. Throw in these changes, co-op, and some of the best level and puzzle design this side of Japan, and you have one heck of a great, long game for fifteen bucks. Oh Lara, I never doubted you.

Before Your Account Goes Up in a Pile of Smoke, Make This Diablo 2 Runeword
Smoke is a Runeword for armor that requires just two runes, Nef and Lum. Smoke is an affordable Runeword for beginners, and many players who start a new Ladder character tend to make use of it early on in the game.
Let's have a look at why:
Requirement:
Body Armor with 2 sockets
Runes (in order): Nef + Lum
Required Level: 37
The Stats:
+75% Enhanced Defense
+280 Defense vs. Missiles
All Resistances +50
20% Faster Hit Recovery
Level 6 Weaken (18 Charges)
+10 To Energy
-1 To Light Radius
Runes: Nef + Lum
Nef is a very common rune, and Lum is a semi-rare rune; it's difficult to find, but not so rare that it will leave you gnashing your teeth in frustration for months. This fact makes Smoke a cheap Runeword to make, compared to other Runewords that might require much rarer Runes.
+75% Enhanced Defense
+280 Defense vs. Missiles
These two Defense bonuses are nice, but not the things that gets players all revved up for the Smoke Runeword.
All Resistances +50
This is the most attractive mod from the Smoke Runeword, and the reason why many Diablo 2 players are searching for the Lum Rune.
When you finish the game in Normal difficulty, you can play the game on Nightmare difficulty, and if you finish the game on Nightmare difficulty, it's time to tackle Hell difficulty, the difficulty level that will test just how good of a Diablo 2 player you are.
The penalties to your character's Resistances are -40 for Nightmare Difficulty and -100 for Hell Difficulty. Therefore, when your character begins on his or her journey on Nightmare and eventually onto Hell, you want to make sure that their Resistances are as high as they can be. Without good Resistances, your character would be a sitting duck for even the non-unique monsters.
A +50 to All Resistance is massive in Diablo 2. And the main reason why players get Smoke.
20% Faster Hit Recovery
Good for melee fighters who require more % FHR to break their target breakpoint.
Summary:
While you might need a bit of time to get that LUM Rune, Smoke is a very affordable Runeword to form given the huge boosts to All Resistances. While other Runewords might offer decent Resists and a ton of other cool mods, they also require rarer Runes. For a NEF and a LUM, Smoke gives you a great bang for your buck!

Use The Stealth Runeword in Diablo 2 to Get an Edge Over Everything Around You
Stealth is a Runeword used in body armor and favored by players with low-level characters due to both its low level requirement and the fact that its stats offer something for every class and build out there.
Requirements:
Body Armor with 2 sockets
Runes (in order): Tal + Eth
Required Level: 17
The Stats:
Magic Damage Reduced By 3
+6 To Dexterity
+15 To Maximum Stamina
Poison Resist +30%
Regenerate Mana 15%
25% Faster Run/Walk
25% Faster Cast Rate
25% Faster Hit Recovery
Runes (in order): Tal + Eth
TAL and ETH are common runes. ETH is very common and you receive TAL (plus RAL and ORT) as a quest reward in Act V.
Required Level: 17
Your character can start wearing armor equipped with the Stealth Runeword at the low level of 17. Body armor equipped with the Steal Runeword is very often better compared to the other armors that are available for players around that level.
Poison Resist +30%
A boost to Poison Resist stands this Runeword in good stead due to the fact that the Final SuperUnique of Act 1 is Andariel, whose successful attack not only deals good physical damage, but poisons for quite a high amount of damage as well.
A +30% boost to Poison Resist makes it easier to kill Andariel on Normal Difficulty, before moving on to Act 2.
Regenerate Mana 15%
This is a good mod for all casters, or physical fighters who might not have enough mana to use their skills.
25% Faster Run/Walk
Faster Run/Walk is a mod that makes your character run or walk faster. It is an important mod for PvM (a player mainly concentrating on the game, ie. Players vs. Monsters), as it allows you escape from monsters who prove too powerful for you. It is an even more important mod for PvP (Players dueling with other Players), where being faster allows you to close the distance between yourself and the enemy that is hurling death at you from a far distance (the usual scenario is of melee characters chasing down casters)
25% Faster Cast Rate
This mod is very useful to casters, because it reduces the amount of frames that happens when a caster casts their magical spells and attacks. The less frames required to cast a spell, the less time it takes to cast that spell!
25% Faster Hit Recovery
Good for melee fighters who require more % FHR to break their target breakpoint.
Summary:
Stealth is an attractive Runeword because it is easy to make, it can be used early in the game, and offers something for everybody. What's not to like?

Simulated Diamonds
In this article we'll be taking a look at a few popular diamond simulants. Simulated diamonds get their name because they "simulate" the look of the real thing, but are not actually lab created or real diamonds.
Cubic zirconia
Cubic zirconia, sometimes referred to as 'CZ' or 'Russian Brilliant' is one of the most common diamond simulants. It normally has no color and is optically flawless. Chemically it is a form of zirconium dioxide. With moissanite running a close second, this is the greatest competitor to true diamonds because of its affordability and availability.
Moissanite
Moissanite, or Silicon Carbide is named after Henri Moussan, who discovered it in Canyon Diablo in Arizona. Today a synthetic version is a popular replacement for a diamond in jewelry and is used exclusively for this purpose as naturally ocurring Moissanite is extremely rare. Moissanite shares some of the physical properties of real diamond. It is extremely hard, but not as hard as a diamond. Moissanite has more color and sparkle than a true diamond.
Yttrium Aluminium Garnet (YAG) and Gadolinium Gallium Garnet (GGG)
These diamond simulants are known for their durability and clarity. Since the development of the much cheaper cubic zirconia, These are rarely produced. Both types of garnets can be produced in a wide range of colors.
Colourless Synthetic Corundum (Sapphire)
Synthetic Sapphires are very simple to create - they were actually the first gemstone to be reproduced in the lab. As such there is a large supply, and these stones should be quite cheap. However they are still a nice looking stone and can be a good substitute for a diamond.
